Me: Can I sit here?
Random Guy: Why?
Me: *shocked/confused* um… what?
Guy: I mean, go ahead.
Me: Thanks. because i didn’t want to sit by myself and look like a loner.
(this is when i realize that he was just sitting by himself and i believe he had a mental disability) *1 minute goes by with us being quiet*
Guy: Well, are you?
Me: am i what?
Guy: A loner *genuine smile*
And that was the moment when I realized that a big goal in my life is to make people happy, no matter what kind of person they are.
