How to love is beyond me.
I found reading In Our Time somewhat difficult as it was an eclectic assortment of short stories as opposed to one long, continuous one. While skipping back and forth made it trickier to follow, it did not take away from the effect of the stories being told. As a matter of fact, most of them were so odd or out of place [to me] and/or unique that the sequence of events hardly mattered because the point, visuality, and impact of WWI was delivered all the same. I am anxious to discuss this book in class.
