While watching the movie quite a few things were different than the book. One of the biggest differences I noticed was that there was much less violence and sex in the movie than in the book. That was understandable because during this time, movies were not allowed to show sex scenes to maintain the “innocence” of the public. Another thing I noticed that was during the fight that took place between Iris and Mabel a toy ship was used instead of a gun. I almost rather the way they did the fight in the movie, because I felt like it went more along with the humor that was added into the movie.
