A murder that shocked the nation.

The book then The Black Dahlia by James Ellroy is centered around a real life murder that took place in California. The woman who was murdered was Elizabeth Short, an aspiring actress. It has already been 60 years since the discovery of her body. Once details were released to the public, about her condition around 50 people confessed to the murder, however, the police couldn’t validate any of their stories. I found an interesting website that talks all about her, her life, and the murder: http://www.bethshort.com/home.php . I would go into more detail but even the thought oh her is so sad and depressing. The book depicted the events extremely well, although it was very difficult to read.
